FWD/RWD CA-TRIKE For the Nineties

IT IS THE NEXT GENERATION TRIKE

It can only be total excitement. Remember the old dune buggies that were so popular twenty years ago. People took damaged rolled over Volkswagen scrap cars and turned them into neat little open road sports cars by discarding the damaged bodies and substituting a fiberglass custom body. Dune buggies were the hit of the sixties. Now you can do the same with a simplified conversion of a common and inexpensive front wheel drive automobile and convert it into a trike for the same amount of time it took to create a VW dune buggy.

BOLT ON CHASSIS

That's right, the chassis bolts together with my adapter kit! The nose of your front wheel drive car is bolted to a motorcycle front end and integrated with one of my custom adapters. No welding or fabrication is necessary. Just drill the holes and connect the cut off nose of any front wheel drive automobile.

MOTORCYCLE REGISTERED

The completed vehicle is registered as a motorcycle therefore it does not have to have motor vehicle inspection or insurance in some states.

TELEFLEX CONTROL CABLES

The original steering column is mounted near the driver and an interface cabling is provided so all the existing computers and sensors are left virtually unchanged. The transmission shifter and brakes also have similar interface connections using existing vehicle components to keep the costs down.

UNIQUE DESIGN

The engine is in front of the rear wheels, creating a well balanced design. Weight distribution is similar to that of a conventional three wheeled motorcycle. Driving characteristics are much better than a side car rig. Customizing possibilities are unlimited.

GREAT FEATURES

Automatic transmission, power brakes, electronic fuel injection and original steering column with the anti-theft key, intermittent directionals, emergency flashers, cruise control and horn. The automatic transmission gear selector is the same floor mounted unit from the car. The only part of the vehicle from an actual motorcycle is the front wheel and forks. Other than my kit and the motorcycle forks, all the components are from the base FWD vehicle.
