Click. Connect. Access the Internet.
With high data throughput that supports V.92 standards.
Wherever you live or wherever
you travel, you're always close to a local access number
with the Netrox LightSpeed dialup network. We have over
900 access numbers in virtually every major city across
the U.S. representing over 90% of the US population. Since
1995, Netrox has been a pioneer in providing reliable Internet
access. Today, we maintain the same quality service and
pricing structure. We still have an unwavering belief in
unparalleled quality and in exceeding our customers' expectations.
- Modem on Hold (MOH) handles incoming
call-waiting signals, flashes the number to the
end user and gives them the option to take the call.
If they
answer the call, MOH puts the ISP “on hold” and
preserves your
Internet connection. When the second call is complete,
you may
immediately resume surfing. End users can also make
outbound calls without disconnecting.
- Quick Connect addresses one of the
biggest complaints regarding dial-up connections:
the amount of time it takes to establish a connection.
A typical modem negotiation takes about 25 – 30
seconds after the call is answered. Quick Connect
optimizes this process and cuts the time in half.
- Increases both download and upload
speeds through new compression techniques and standards
for upstream transmission.
Upstream data rates are increased from 33.6 Kilobits
per second (Kbps) to 48Kbps. V.44 also
increases the downloading speed of uncompressed content
(i.e. text) by 50%.
- Fast, reliable Internet access with
a 99% connectivity rate - among the best in the industry;
- A dialup network built for a "never
busy" connection, with over 800 access points and
900 access numbers across the United States;
and
- Uses analog POTS lines with high
data throughput rates to support V.92 standards.
- 5 POP Email accounts;
- SPAM & virus filtering;
- 10MB of free Web space; and
