Mr. Rodriguez, President of Netrox, spearheaded the development
and reorganization of the company through its reacquisition
from Allied Riser Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: ARCC).
He is recognized as one of Netrox’s cornerstones, having
been with the company since its inception as BridgeNet in
1995. Mr. Rodriguez manages the strategic development of
the company, while also overseeing Netrox’s operations.
Mr. Rodriguez is a member of various professional organizations,
including the Beacon Council, Coconut Grove Chamber of Commerce,
Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, Doral Chamber of Commerce
and Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Rodriguez resides in Miami, Florida with his wife and
child.
As Chairman of the Board of Netrox, Mr. Marcus is instrumental
in the long-term growth and strategic development of the
company. Founding the company in 1995 as BridgeNet, an Internet
service provider, Mr. Marcus was responsible for raising
the capital necessary to commence operations. Having started
one of the first Internet service providers in Florida,
he was a pioneer educating consumers on the Internet and
its uses. Hosting his own two hour show on WIOD, “Byte
Me,” Mr. Marcus led the trend locally for companies
to look to the Internet as a viable and necessary tool for
business.
In addition to Netrox, Mr. Marcus developed and later sold
Cyberchefs, an online delivery service that links Internet
surfers with neighborhood restaurants.
Mr. Marcus holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration
from the University of Wisconsin and resides in Hollywood,
Florida.
As, Vice President of Sales, Mr. Bruce Guemmer is responsible
for managing the development and implementation of Netrox's
sales strategy, including business development, sales staff
training and management and program development.
Previously the Director of Sales and Operations for a publicly-held
local, long distance, Internet, Web-hosting and advanced
data solutions provider, Mr. Guemmer brings over 20 years
of experience in direct sales, business development, strategic
planning, marketing, training and research analysis to Netrox.
Mr. Guemmer resides in Miami Beach, Florida.
Mr. Javier Aguirre, Director of Information Technology at
Netrox, started with the company in 1995 as a result of
a “non-conventional” employment conduit. In 1995,
Mr. Aguirre attempted to compromise Netrox’s complex
security system and was caught by the company. Netrox executives
wanted to meet the person who was able to accomplish this
feat, and after some deliberation, decided that they rather
have him on their side than on the competition’s, and
Mr. Aguirre was subsequently offered an entry level position
at the company.
Today, Mr. Aguirre spearheads Netrox’s information
technology department and the company’s team of IT
specialists, responsible for structuring IT policies and
services, designing network and IT solutions and implementing
internal and external security networks.
