Hello, and welcome to my website! I am a red & white Basset Hound named Thumbelina. I am five years old.
I weigh 76 pounds and I love to snuggle. That's how I got the nickname, "The Love Blob."

My family and friends discovered that as soon as they snuggle up with me, all their worries, cares, aches, pains, and stress seem to disappear. That's how I got my other nickname, "The Healing Basset."

Some of my favorite people foods are: pizza, pasta, popcorn and toast. I sing (howl) for my breakfast and dinner so my mom will think I am starving!

My favorite toy is my Kong, but I only like it if it has peanut butter stuffed into it. I have a green ball that I like to play catch with also.

I have a cat named Oprah and she cleans me up (when she is being nice.) Sometimes we play chase around the couch also.

My best basset friend and room-mate, Butcher D. Dog, left for Dog Heaven one year ago, when he was 12 years old. I miss him.

Last month I got a new "sister". Her name is Tillie. She is about 18 months old. We adopted her from South Florida Basset Hound Rescue She was very small and thin. She only weighed 36 pounds when she came to live with us a month ago, and now she weighs 39, and looks much better. She has her very own page on my website also.
