Welcome to my very own web page! My name is Tillie Tooter Hernández.
I am named Tillie Tooter because here in South Florida,
an 82 year old grandma named Tillie Tooter was forced off
the expressway overpass and down into a ravine.
She survived for 4 days on her wits and determination! Then she was rescued!
I am named Tillie Tooter in her honor.

I was rescued by South Florida Basset Hound Rescue.
They found me in Dade County, near death.
I was very skinny and sick; I had a skin infection and a bronchial infection!

When I was ready to find a home, my picture was posted on
the Basset Rescue website. Here is the picture, see how skinny I was?

My mom saw the picture and brought me home to live with
Thumbelina and Oprah the Cat.
Now I am gaining weight and have a family that really, really loves me.
Here is a recent picture of me! I have gained almost 5 pounds!

I am afraid of thunderstorms and loud noises, but everyone
comforts me when I am scared. I love to chase the cat, and she cleans me up
after we run around in a frenzy. Life is good.
